Well, the front sheet metal was blown apart so they could strip and prep for jambs and engine compartment. Looks like some additional work required..

Not to worry. I was told it was rust from the outside in, and easily fixed. Most of it was fixed already by the next day. All Good!

Here is an interesting tidbit... This is what happens when the factory forgets to weld the nuts inside the framerail that holds the K frame. They go in thru the top, correct their minor oversight, then weld it back up. Kind of cool actually, IMHO

Yep,  Mine looked like that last time I had the fenders off.  All I could do at the time was get rid of the rust, spray it with that Rustolium rust converting primer, and put a couple hevy coats of primer and paint over it to try and slow it down till I can start doing the car right.

Well, I done pulled the trigger in Carlisle for the newest offering from Wilwood. 12.19" rotor w/ 4 piston calipers that will fit inside a 15" rim. Box came yesterday to where I work. It looks to be quite the setup!

I know you guys were discussing disc brake options, and this was not on the list, but I like the idea of stopping in a hurry if need be, and these should do the trick nicely.

Did you have a Mopar disc brakes on before you ordered the Wilwood setup, what other changes will you have make?

You may have to change the master cylinder or at least the proportioning valve.

I had 10" manual drums, and the kit fits on those spindles. A different master cylinder for sure, and  probably an adjustable proportioning valve will be needed.

One of the guys at work, and Kyle on here are trying to talk me into a hydroboost system. I want a stock looking appearance, so I'm not sure how this is going to play out yet..
