255 60 15 is a better tire option then the 295 50 15... in my opinion.

Because, there is no way to have owned a Charger without having some cool stories to go with it.

I agree, 255 or 275 60's are better-looking tires on a muscle-car.

I have 10 inch rims on the rear with 275/60/15
on the front are 245/60/15 with an 8 inch rim and no clearance issues even when the car is fully loaded with family.

Fat American fenders NEED fat American rubber!

This is the same look and tire size I am wanting to go for as well.  Do you have the stock shackles or the lifted ones?

Wow someone else that runs the same combo I do with no problems....and I was told it probably rubs and people need to beware

Something that would be good for people to get that want to upsize their rims and tires is a Perceys wheel tool. It allows you to simulate tire sizes and offsets to figure out what fits. They run about 60 bucks iirc.  Well worth the investment when buying custom sizes.

I talked to a guy at a car show with a 70 cuda that had 295 50r 15s I loved the width of tire and the height, he they were discontinuing them though. Does anybody know if this tire is made still? I would love that tire in the back!:)

I used to run 295/50R15 BFG T/A's on an 8" wide Keystone Classic back in the 80's. Worked out well.

Tony, that size is still available through multiple company's. He was probably just referring to that particular brand discontinuing that size.
